What I'm up to

These days I spend much of my time working on research with the USC Image Understanding Lab. Right now, I'm developing a unified subject testing suite for the facial recognition division as well as laying groundwork for the next iteration of a Gabor-based facial recognition algorithm. Outside of that, I have my own projects alongside my blog, albums, and other literary endeavors. And finally, besides all of those things, I like to spend time working out, longboarding, and learning how to freeline skate.

I am fluent in Python and have significant experience with libraries such as Numpy, Scipy, Django, Flask, and Requests. I'm also deeply familiar the standard web toolkit of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as popular frameworks such as Angular JS with SCSS and TypeScript. I have a strong knowledge of Swift, Java, C#, C/C++, and unfortunately, PHP. I also know how to use MySQL, Postgres, and NoSQL database frameworks like MongoDB.

More about me!

Outside of development, I love playing video games, practicing martial arts, playing guitar, golfing, biking, long boarding, and skiing. My favorite games are, without a doubt, Battlefield 4 and The Elder Scrolls V, but that list would be lacking without Crash Bandicoot and the original Star Wars Battlefront II. I'm also a huge fan of music, and will absolutely listen to just about anything you could recommend.
